Increased Capacity

  • Larger classes can be accommodated, enhancing educational opportunities
  • More Aircraft can be housed, providing hands-on experience with a greater variety of aircraft

Enhanced Training

  • Expanded facilities allow for more advanced and comprehensive workforce training
  • Improved resources and equipment are available for students with local industry needs

Improved Learning

  • State-of-the-art infrastructure to support cutting-edge aviation technologies
  • More space for practical exercises and real-world simulations

Room to Breathe

Increasing the size of our hangar will give us the much needed space to expand our hands-on training labs, add storage for tools and consumables, provide room to maneuver equipment and aircraft, and grant more flexibility to our instructors in how they design their lesson plans for each day.

Tax Neutral

Passing Bond 3 will not increase taxes. Likewise, voting against the measure will not lower taxes. This is what we mean when we say that it is tax neutral. The benefits are an enhanced higher educational experience for our students and your future aviation maintenance technicians.

What our Students and Graduates are Saying

The project to expand the Aviation Maintenance Technology’s hangar does not include funds to purchase new aircraft or equipment. Our students and our graduates are hopeful that by increasing the size of the hangar, there will be room to add new learning resources in the future.

Jordan C.

Director of Quality, Aersale Inc.

Graduate of the ENMU-Roswell AMT Program
“I think the expansion of the hangar there would be great and I think it’s going to open up the university and the AMT program to you know new technologies, to more room, and give them the ability to kind of accelerate that new technology…”

Collette C.

Heavy Maintenance Representative, Air Wisconsin Airlines

Graduate of the ENMU-Roswell AMT Program
“It’ll be beneficial because you’ll get different types of aircraft, hopefully more commercial, to get people into the commercial airlines industry instead of just general airframe… there’s not a lot of space in the hangar currently. There’s a lot of smaller general airframe type of aircraft, and having commercial, like I said, would expose people to more hands-on opportunities with commercial airlines.”

Aaliyah C. H.

Student, ENMU-Roswell
“If we could get a new building with new aircraft, I think it would be great for the students coming in. I know a lot of people who don’t know about this program. It’s kind of just hidden back here.”

Jake M.

Student, ENMU-Roswell
“I’d love the expansion just so we’d have more area to work around and to work with, more equipment, and more tooling and aircraft… but [our current equipment is] also very heavy and hard to move around here… sometimes getting stuff around, and working around it, is getting a little bit difficult.”
