ROSWELL WOMAN’S CLUB AWARDS SPRING SCHOLARSHIPS

 

The Roswell Woman’s Club has awarded scholarships to six students at ENMU-Roswell this spring semester. Each student received a $500 scholarship.

 

The recipients are: Julia Azih, Occupational Safety Engineering Technology; Angelina Bugarin, Occupational Safety and Engineering Technology; Juan Campos-Garcia, Welding; Kaileigh Holloway, Nursing; Laura Price, Nursing; and Karine Salas, Nursing.

 

Established in 1895, the Roswell Woman’s Club is one of the oldest civic clubs in Roswell and has a long history of support for ENMU-Roswell. The club awards scholarships in both the spring and fall semesters to selected students who have a GPA of 3.0 or higher and have completed at least 12 credit hours. The object of the club is to promote higher educational, social, moral, and civic conditions in the community.
