ENMU-ROSWELL NURSING INSTRUCTOR EARNS SPECIALTY CERTIFICATION

The Board of Certification for Emergency Nursing (BCEN) has awarded ENMU-Roswell Nursing instructor, Candi Miller-Morris, a new credential. She is now certified as a Trauma Certified Registered Nurse (TCRN). Miller-Morris joins the elite group of thousands of nurses across the globe who hold a specialty nursing certification. Miller-Morris has also held a Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) credential since 1983.

According to the BCEN team, “Certification is a measure of one’s knowledge, skills, and clinical judgment within their nursing specialty. It is a mark of excellence that distinguishes them as being at the top of their profession. Certification also makes a statement about who they are – a dedicated individual who goes above and beyond, not because they have to, but because they are committed to being their best.”

Miller-Morris has served as a Nursing faculty member at ENMU-Roswell since 2003.  She is responsible for teaching future nurses Medical Surgical Nursing, Pharmacology, as well as the Seminar and Capstone course work.
