ENMU-ROSWELL FOUNDATION ELECTS OFFICERS AND WELCOMES NEW BOARD MEMBERS

 

The ENMU-Roswell Foundation Board of Directors recently approved the appointment of Cassie Holloway, Chief Financial Officer and Vice President at Read & Stevens, Inc. and Alejandra Martinez, New Loan Boarding Clerk at Pioneer Bank, as new members. The board also approved the slate of officers for 2019-2020. Steve Henderson will continue to serve as President. Jon Hitchcock will continue to serve as Vice President and Treasurer and Kay Rogers will continue to serve as Secretary.

Holloway graduated from Goddard High School and attended New Mexico State University where she obtained her bachelor’s degree in Accounting. She later obtained her Master of Business Administration degree from Eastern New Mexico University. Holloway and her husband, Byron, have 2 children.

A graduate of Dexter High School, Martinez previously worked as a teller at Wells Fargo Bank. She is currently pursuing an Associate of Arts degree in Business Administration at ENMU-Roswell. She plans to continue her education and earn a bachelor’s degree in business. She is currently Vice President of the Roswell Hispano Chamber of Commerce and a Co-Treasurer for Del Norte Elementary School. Martinez and her husband, Reyes, have 3 boys.

The other members of the board are Charlie Blanco, Brian Byrd, Jose Chavez, Laurie Archuleta Dudek, Mike McLeod, Adriann Ragsdale, and LaNelle Witt. Ex officio board members are Mireya Trujillo, President, Community College Board and Dr. Shawn Powell, President, ENMU-Roswell.

The Foundation’s Board of Directors is made up of civic and business leaders in Chaves County who are dedicated to supporting one of the region’s most important assets, ENMU-Roswell. The Eastern New Mexico University- Roswell Foundation is a non-profit group organized under 501 (c) (3) regulations to receive and distribute funds to assist the university and students enrolled at ENMU-Roswell. The foundation provides scholarships and other financial assistance to support education and training at the Roswell campus.
