ENMU-Roswell Welcomes Dr. Stephen Grieco as Vice President of Academic and Student Affairs

ROSWELL, N.M.– Eastern New Mexico University-Roswell is proud to announce the appointment of Dr. Stephen Grieco, D.M.A., as the new Vice President of Academic and Student Affairs, effective January 1, 2025. Dr. Grieco brings over 20 years of extensive experience in higher education leadership.
Originally from Buffalo, New York, Dr. Grieco has held various academic and administrative roles at institutions in Arizona, Massachusetts, and Pennsylvania. His career spans from adjunct faculty positions to professorships and administrative leadership, including his role as Vice President of Academic Affairs at Manor College.
Dr. Grieco is highly regarded for fostering partnerships that promote diversity and international collaboration, providing students with opportunities to study and grow in Central and South America and throughout Europe. His expertise in leadership, strategic planning, curriculum development, accreditation, and assessment will greatly benefit ENMU-Roswell as it continues to enhance academic excellence and student success. He has also served as a peer evaluator for the Middle States Commission on Higher Education and has recently been accepted as a reviewer for the Higher Learning Commission. Dr. Grieco’s dedication and proven track record in supporting community partnerships and serving Hispanic students will be invaluable assets to Eastern New Mexico University-Roswell, a designated Hispanic serving institution.
