Occupational Therapy Assistant Program Celebrates Pinning Ceremony at ENMU-Roswell

ROSWELL, N.M. – The Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) program at Eastern New Mexico University-Roswell proudly held its annual pinning ceremony on Wednesday, May 8th. This special event, a significant milestone for the program, saw nine dedicated students receive their pins in recognition of their hard work and commitment to the field of occupational therapy.

The pinning ceremony, a tradition in the medical and allied health professions, symbolizes the students’ transition from the academic phase of their education to the clinical phase. It marks the culmination of their rigorous training and their readiness to begin their professional careers as occupational therapy assistants.

The ceremony took place shortly before the ENMU-Roswell Graduation, allowing the OTA students to celebrate their achievements with their peers and loved ones. The event was attended by faculty, family, and friends who came together to support and honor the students’ accomplishments.

The administration, faculty, and staff of ENMU-Roswell extend their heartfelt congratulations to the OTA program’s staff and students. The dedication and hard work of both students and educators have made this achievement possible, and the university is proud to celebrate this momentous occasion with them.

Congratulations once again to the newly pinned OTA students and the dedicated faculty who have supported them along their journey!
