Testing Services is located on the 2nd floor of the Instructional Center in room 208
ATI
ATI provides programs and services to help educators and students alike. These include assessment tools to pre-determine and measure the students’ readiness for a nursing or allied health program, as well as a curriculum management program to ensure for long-term success. The Test of Essential Academic Skills (TEAS) is used as part of the admissions process by Nursing and Allied Health schools nationwide.

CDL Exam
Eastern New Mexico University - Roswell is an approved testing center for the New Mexico MVD for those wishing to obtain a Class “A”, Class “B”, or Class “C” CDL operator license with airbrake, passenger, and tank vehicle endorsements.
Beginning February 7, 2022, to be eligible to take required skills or knowledge tests, CDL applicants must have completed applicable entry-level training from a registered training provider or meet an authorized exemption. The new Entry-Level Driver Training (ELDT) regulations require that all entry-level drivers of commercial motor vehicles receive training from a provided listed on the PMCSA’s Training Provider Registry. You must complete the training requirements for theory, range, and behind the wheel to complete this test.
Prior to scheduling a driving exam, the following materials are required. Please visit the New Mexico MVD website for more guidance on preparing for your CDL written and skills exams. Additional guidance on the website can be found in the Drivers Procedures manual in chapter 5.
Exams are scheduled by appointment only and are subject to the availability of the contracted examiner and ENMU-R campus closures. They must be scheduled at least one week in advance, and available dates have been provided below. To schedule an exam, a completed CDL packet is required. It includes:
- CDL Exam application form
- Copy of current/valid (without a hole punch) Driver’s License and Commercial Learner’s Permit (both front and back)
- $200.00 exam fee - paid to the ENMU-Roswell cashier at 1 (575) 624-7125
You will receive a confirmation email with the date and time of your exam within 2-4 business days once it has been scheduled. Tests are available between Thursday and Sunday of each week in two-hour blocks, typically starting at 7:00 AM. Tests are scheduled on a first-come first-serve basis starting with the earliest available block of time. Third attempts of the CDL exam must be conducted on Thursdays or Fridays.

Distance Education Proctoring
Proctored testing for Non-ENMU-Roswell distance education students is administered in the Testing Services Department. Testing Services is the sole provider of proctoring services for online Distance Education Courses.
