About our Program

ENMU-Roswell Student Support Services (SSS) is part of the Federal TRIO Programs and is designed to help students attend, graduate, and transfer from a 2-year to a 4-year college. The goal of our program is to help students, who are 18 years and older, succeed in college and to graduate. Student Support Services is a college retention and degree completion program that is designed to support Income Eligible and/or First Generation, and Disabled students to reach their full potential and achieve academic success.

We provide several services, including


  • Provide academic tutoring: Math, English, Basic Computer Information System (BCIS)
  • Assist students with academic advising
  • Provide career counseling
  • Offer guidance on college course selection
  • Provide information on financial and economic literacy
  • Assist students who want to apply and transfer to a four-year college
  • Provide information on financial and economic literacy
  • Assist students who need help completing the Financial Aid (FAFSA) application
  • Eligible to participate in our 4-Year College Campus Tours and Cultural trips

We are available

Monday - Thursday
8:00 AM to 6:00 PM

and on Friday
8:00 AM to NOON

Student Support Services is located in the Instructional Center (IC) building, Suite 203 (2nd Floor)


Benefits of Participating in our Program

  • Student Support Services helps students succeed in college. Participants in SSS have been shown to earn more credits and have higher grade point averages than non-participants.
  • Student Support Services helps students gain important skills. In addition to academic preparation in subjects like math, English, and Basic Computer Information Systems; students gain important skills that last a lifetime (i.e., organization, time and budget management, networking, etc.).
  • Student Support Services helps build learning communities. In addition to receiving academic support, career counseling, and more, Student Support Services connects students from similar backgrounds, providing them with a support system that can last for years.

Who is Eligible for Student Support Services?

Student Support Services focuses on students and non-students (not currently enrolled) who are at least 18 years or older and who meet any of the following requirements:

  • Income Eligible
    • See the minimum income threshold table below. You may need to show proof of income eligibilty such as with a tax return.
  • First Generation College Student
    • First generation students are any student who's parents did not complete (graduate) from a four-year bachelor's program. You may be eligible even if one or more of your parents earned an associate's degree.
  • Disabled
    • If you are a student with disabilities and are in academic need, you may also qualify for the TRIO Student Support Services program.
